Task 1 Preliminary task

Our first task was to create a video presenting different camera angles. We had to plan a script and how the video would pan out. We used a Panasonic HD camera. To edit this video we used final cut pro.

I started with a steady cam/ cowboy shot following out actress Olivia walking to the door. Next is a mid shot of Olivia walking throughout the door. Next it shows Olivia on the other side of the door with a close up over the shoulder shot. you don't see her face during the cut. 

Next when you see Olivia run down the stairs you see her looking at Danielle on her Phone. Olivia displays an over the shoulder shot. This also is a high angle shot.

Next cut was Olivia chasing Danielle down the stairs with fast pacing music in the background to add suspense in the story. The steady shot was filmed at lower angle and gives a full shot of the actresses.

 When Danielle gets caught there is a close up of her reaction! This is good to show the aggression in Olivias face and how Danielle shows of her emotion.

This 180 degrees shot shows the other perspective of the argument. you get to see the clear shot of Danielle slapping Olivia in the face.










Conclusion: We found filming this a fun way to experiment different type of shots. We worked well as a team and because we planned everything ahead it went smoothly. Some things we could improve is some talking in the video which we could of edited out.
